BIO:
I'm a photographer based in New York. I grew up in Rockland County, which is just about an hour away from NYC. I had my first toy camera at about the age of 5, went to my first concert at the age of 8 (Duran Duran at MSG), and photographed my first concert at the age of 12. That's when I first really felt the rush...the excitement of it all. It's hard to explain but I fell in love with concert photography then. I continued to sneak my camera into many many shows after that. I carried a camera around with me everywhere I went, documenting as much as possible. My first assignments were in college. I photographed Jawbox, The Bare Naked Ladies, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Rusted Root. After college I got involved with the Big Takeover Magazine. My first assignments there were to assist on photo shoots with REM, Social Distortion, and Joe Strummer. Then I started covering concerts like Rasputina, Swervedriver, the Buzzcocks, the Go-Betweens, Wheat, and Idaho. From there things began to grow. Now I continue to cover as many concerts as possible, appreciating every single opportunity that comes my way. I'm also still struggling and trying my best to get my name out there, and hopefully sites such as these will help me reach my goal. All feedback is welcome, positive and negative. Thanks!
